Primary Power: Incendiary Rounds

This build relies heavily on hitting multiple scoped shots in a row.

This build is the simplest one out of the 3. Very purely focusing on weapon damage.

It’s also the build I pick when I’m up against a high amount of cleanses as there is no reliance on burns for extra damage.

Round 1

Pew Pew.

This round the power you’ll be choosing is going to be . This may seem counterproductive at first glance, but the 3s shorter dynamite cooldown and the 5 ammo reload it gives you allows you to do significantly more damage in the first round.

In round 1 you’ll likely still be picking the Ability Power items as well as the Weapon Power item. Lifesteal isn’t so valuable at this point in time, and more ammo doesn’t help you that much just yet.

You’re just using dynamite off-cooldown and trying your best to hit people with it and doing as much damage as possible.

Round 2

Pew Pew 2: Pew Harder

Use your cash money to just build up your weapon power stat as high as you possibly can.

PS:I will scream if you pick . It’s 3k more than and offers no added value because your burst damage already doesn’t care about armor. You can get multiple blues and get a much higher damage stat.

Round 3

Pew Pew With a Vengeance

Now you’ll want to pick

This early on in the game your focus is on getting your Weapon Power stat as high as possible, because your primary power scales with the weapon power stat specifically. You’re not really looking for any special effects. Your main goal is simply to get that stat as high as possible.

Your gameplan remains almost as simple as round 1. Use dynamite off-cooldown and do as much damage as possible, but also try to proc whenever you’re a little bit further away from someone.

Round 4

Live Free or Pew Pew

By this point you should have a good idea of what your strengths are and who on the enemy team your biggest threat is.

Pick only a single survival item to deal with that threat. You don’t want to spend too much on your survival here because it goes at the cost of your lethality. And your lethality is the key to actually winning the round.

Besides said survival item you’ll also start getting less immediate value from your primary power as your opponents will also be getting stronger.

So you can really start looking at items that increase your damage on top of your weapon damage stat. These items combine to scale harder than just pure weapon damage can.

Think for longer ranged shots and for crits. These two items will likely be your core for the rest of this build. can also be slotted in on maps with strong highgrounds like Redwood Dam and Ilios Ruins.

There is also if you’re up against a particularly threatening tank with a lot of health. If they have 400 more max life than you you do 20% more damage to them.

An Ana building a tanky sleepdart build or a Juno building for overhealth also tend to receive 5-10% more damage from this item.

For your remaining item slots you will just once again be maximizing your Weapon Power stat.

Round 5

A Good Day to Pew Pew.

For your round 5 power there isn’t a specific power that further synergizes with your existing powers. There are a few powers that work well with your current playstyle.

  • (Combined with [Infrared Lenses])
    • The 20% damage boost from is pretty big at this point and if you can hit two scoped shots in a row on a burning target that target is going to evaporate.
    • Can further be enhanced in round 7 with the power.
    • More mobility = more survivability. If you’re particularly struggling with people getting in your face and killing you this power will do you well.
    • This also synergizes well with to add more weapon damage to your kit.
    • Can further be enhanced in round 7 with the or powers.
    • Strong versus heroes that get in your face as it immediately forces them to retreat.
    • If your target is already on fire from a dynamite this suddenly becomes a lot stronger. (Genjis and Junkerqueens hate you if you pick this)
    • Can be further enhanced in round 7 with the power.
    • The main point of this power is area denial. Anywhere your dynamites are people will instinctively avoid. So you can use this to strategically deny highground positions and chokepoints.
    • Does not add to Weapon Damage, but has enough value to be worth choosing versus grounded heroes, and you’ll be using dynamite off-cooldown anyway due to providing you with a 5 ammo reload.
    • Does not synergize with any further powers so there isn’t a particular round 7 synergy.
    • This is really not that great a power to pick in the majority of situations. But if you’re up against a Reinhardt running Stampede you could use bob jr to counterpin them.
    • You could also use this to force a D.va to turn around instead of diving you.
    • Really a last resort kind of power to deal with a specific few situations.

Besides your power you will once again be following the same strategy as in round 4. 1 survival item, a few % based damage items and a whole lot of Weapon Power.

Round 6

Scaled and lethal.

Your goal is simply to do as much damage as you possibly can. You might have to even consider removing a survival item just to do more damage.

At this point you should have both and in your build, as well and any other damage items that synergize with your chosen powers.

On maps good for it you could pick over another rare damage item, but it’s unlikely that this item will have more value than any epic items so those take precedence over them.

Just hit your shots and the enemy will fear you.

Round 7

Remember who’s in charge.

It’s a 3-3 situation. Your only chance of winning now is by simply killing everyone faster than they can kill you.

If you haven’t ditched your survival item already, now is the time to do so. You’re building for maximal damage.

For your power you should go back to the list in round 5. Pick the power most appropriate for your situation

You should be running 5 or 6 epic damage items at this point. , , and any other items that synergize with your powers. (Such as or [Infrared Lenses])

You’re the most lethal character in the lobby at this point. You can 2 tap bodyshot every squishy that isn’t building for health, and you will put the fear of god into anyone you can hit a headshot on.

Hit your shots. Win the game. Simple as that.
